- Thu Jun 04, 2009 9:48 am #120574 Ok hey guys whats up i have a 92 civic eg with a b20b it has a few mods i was wanting to do a head swap. What would be the best bet i dont have a ton of money. I was told the gsr doesnt have good flow. I was considering the type r. b18. what would i need and around about how much would this cost me

- Fri Jun 05, 2009 12:10 am #120745 gsr head flows just fine. nothing wrong with it. It will also raise the CR of you motor more than the ITR or B16a head.

You will need whats called a LS/Vtec conversion kit. There is alot of stuff you need to do to make it run reliably and not screw up.
