- Thu Jul 16, 2009 12:21 pm #130752 hey guys im tryin 2 change the cam/timing belt on me civic and was just wonderin if any1 knew what way the crankshaft bolt un does and the best way of undoin it, cheers its just the 1 bolt thats stoppin me .

best way to get it off is with a real impact wrench, no one of those electric ones.
some place sell a special tool to hold the crank pulley, but it has to fit your pulley.
