I'm looking to buy a house, but my score is a little lower than I would like it. I'll have all debt paid off in a week or two, and I just opened up 2 credit cards and got them yesterday in the mail.
Now, I literally have nothing that I need to buy right now besides food and gas, and won't for a few months. I got the credit cards just to improve my credit, I don't care about paying the little bit of interest.
So my question is, would they know if I went and bought stuff from Walmart/Lowe's and then returned it later on and got the cash back and then paid off the credit card with the cash? I mean, it's the only way I can see me actually buying something and it looking like I paid the payments, in full, each month.
