Allright!
This morning I got another startermotor, the old one was dead.
I don't think it was the stock one, because the other one I got this morning is a Denso, the other one is a... CMS or something, also quite different in shape, and it sounds different as well...
But it works!!
Also, yesterday I got my brand-spanking-new tri Y header in, along with my new decat.
The finish is much better than any other budget (wich still are 3 or 4 times the price) header, it looks absolutley great!!
I can't get the O2 sensor out, yet... as soon as I have my (bigger) midpipe in, and some more time, I'll be putting it in.

Also, I have a chipped P06 ECU since 28th of january 2006.
Yesterday, I cut the jumper (just a piece of wire to override the stock settings on the original chip) and soldered a piece of wire to each end of it.
I lead it up to the glove compartment and put in a on/off switch.
This is only to help reduce the emission a bit when going for the annual inspection.

I've ordered a D16z2 camshaft (secondhand), should be in this week.
My midpipe is in as well, but it's at a friends, doesn't matter, I've got it ;)
After I'm back from vacation I'll order an adj. camgear.
Mount everything and have the ECU reprogrammed, the guy is busy for a couple of weeks, so I have to wait.
He is using ECtune, with the use of a wideband (off course) he is bringing along, tuning will be on the streets
Hopefully, I'll be putting out the theoretical 130hp I mentioned in another topic
And that without VTEC

Yesterday I pulled my distributorcap off, because the car was idling a bit weird, and would stutter in 'high' rpm.
So it full with corroded material, the rotor even broke in half when I gently tried to remove it...
No salvation for those two then hey
Today I picked up a new cap and rotor, and it runs perfectly smooth again

I've got my new tri-Y installed!!
It fits great, almost like OEM
Only two things now are...
Get a new o2 sensor, the old one snapped in halve, it was just TO tight.
No time untill probably wednesday.
So now the check engine light pops up, I had to drive about 800m from where I put it on to home, but the increase in power is enormous!
I've only had it in low revs tho...
And the new decat is about 2 to 3 centimeters to short.
But it's somewhere between 41 and 42 cm, what an original cat should be.
When I get my new midpipe on, I'll take a look again, I had some work done to the stock midpipe a couple of times, maybe it was cut short bij 1cm at the time or something like that...
It fits great, almost like OEM
