But hey if you do end up getting this and it ends up being ok. That will be great! But get it checked out by a mechanic first before buying, you don't want to get someones half assed motorswap job, all jerry rigged and chit!
*edit* also pop the hood and check the core/radiator support for damage.

Its not the fact that I have to get a civic hatch before school... Its the fact I have to get a car before school due to the R.I.P of my sleeper eclipse gt =[.

I'd just prefer to have a civic and not some other P.O.S.

Its the JDM D15b VTEC-E Engine.

They are crappy if you want a fast car. They do make a decent fuel econemy vechile. Then again a d15b7(dx Engine) can give 40mpg and still have more power.

The Si will still get good fuel econemy, and have much more pep.

If I was you I would pass on this car and get an Si Hatch. The front end looks repainted so it was probally wrecked. combined with the lame vtec-e engine Doesn't really make it worth the effort or money. If the body was streight and had good paint it might be worth it just to do an engine swap.

Like i said before though I would hold out for an Si. They come with the D16z6(SOHC VTEC, the best SOHC VTEC engine out there IMO), Sunroof, and other cool options. It pretty much comes the way you would want one more or less from honda. give it a decent drop, I/h/e and you have an awesome platform to work with.

In the UK we have a civic called the Vei, mine's an Lsi, which is 1.5L 16v SOHC non vtec with 92bhp.

The Vei runs SOHC 1.5L 8v with acute vtec, called the vtec-e. Meant for economy. It's a pretty cool model, and comes with 90bhp

They definitely made one guys! could be jdm I spose?

the vtec-e is a shit motor. its bascily the same as a stock non vtec d series.

Yep, i had it in my stock 93 VX hatchback, nothing rare about it..its slow and doesn't like mods, the harness for it is also whack because of the O2 sensor wires....PITA for swaps unless you replace the whole harness.

$2k is a scam, $1700 at the most.
