and i want to know if i could just do a straight swap with out buying other shift linkages and stuff
i wanna know if everything i need is already there

- Mon Jul 27, 2009 4:07 pm #133554 If its going from a DA to an EG, you will still need mounts for a B series into a EG, I.E. DC teg mounts or HASport. DA mounts are different.

If its going from a DA to an EG, you will still need mounts for a B series into a EG, I.E. DC teg mounts or HASport. DA mounts are different.

my engine in my eg is vtec-e
if i go from vtec to non vtec, is there anything i should be concerned about?

The VX can have either a normal 4 wire if it's a 93+ CA version, or a 5 wire (7 wire plug) if it's federal or 92 CA. But in the US there are no 1 wire O2 Civics after 92.

But as far as VTEC-E goes; no, you don't have anything to worry about.
