- Thu Aug 06, 2009 5:13 am #135929 Ok When it urn the key i can hear the fuel pump come on, i know thats the way its supposed to be, but occasionally when i go to start the car, it starts the dies in like 2 seconds..if i turn the key again my fel pump wont come on and the car wont start. this repeatedly happens until my fuel pump comes on (many key turns later)..its very frustrating and want to find out the problem..help me please...and thanks

You could try that..My relay goes out on me sometimes....It takes a couple times of turning the key or just waiting a couple mintutes and then it fires...Sometimes my fuel pump will also stop priming..So hopefully that helps...The relay is by the fuse box under your dash on the drivers side...
