So amidst this shithole economy full of mortgage scams and everything else.. I got my mortgage modified……FOR FREE! We applied like 2 months ago through our mortgage lender and hadn’t heard anything from them since then.
I was getting scared that possibly we got tricked into giving our info to some scammer. But then low and behold a big hard envelope hidden under my skull and crossbones door mat, when I got home yesterday.
So we open it up and BAM…. They lowered our interest 1%(still with a fixed interest loan!!) which dropped our payment $200 bucks! That is going to help out a TON!
Aww I’m so effin happy. Seems like we’ve only had shitty luck lately. Hope this is a start in a new direction!
