Yeah they do have a rear fog light option in the tails.. but it is very hard to find an usually cost alot more than I wanted to spend on them, granted I havent been able to find rear fog light yet.. but if found for a decent deal I wouldnt think twice about picking one up :D

No haven't been to the drag strip legally yet! But have done one AutoX an she did pretty good. But I don't plan on gutting her just keeping her as a fun daily driver!


What cams are you getting? And what are you doing to raise the compression?

I don't remember, did it come with adjustable cam gears? If not, get them.

I'm working (extremely slowly) on a 250whp NA build, myself. You'll get yours done and tuned before I can get a chance at yanking my engine out.

I'm getting rid of my skunk 2 stage 1 tuner cams for skunk 2 PRO stage 2 cams (also getting PRO valvesprings aswell) getting skunk 2 high comp valves an a mugen/spoon 2 layer head gasket to bump up comp a lil.

Already have skunk pro cam gears, an good luck w ur build!!

#145283 with the sppon gasket and flat valves you should be nudging 11.5:1 its 11.2 with just the gasket. Make sure the cams get dont requirer more compression.

Well when I first contacted S2 with my new plans an setup ideas they were the ones to recommend the pro 2's, still waiting to hear back on what compression is needed. would the pro 1's be safe with that range compression or do they need higher aswell?

#145739 I know my cams need 11:1 or more, and the pro2s are about the same specs. SO i would say 11:1 or more. you should be fine with your setup after the HG and valves.

Just heard back from Skunk2 they said,

"
Minimum required compression for Pro 1's is about 11:1, Pro 2's is about 11.5:1.

I think with the combination you are describing you will be flirting with minimum compression to run Pro 2's."

So I will prob just get some Pro 1's unless I can raise compression a little more, but not to high cuz i still want to be able to run 93 octane, since its still my DD

#145948 You can run 93 on 11.5:1. I have a V8 Chevy friend who runs 12:1 in his 355 Olds with 93 pump gas no problem.

You will be really close to 11.5:1 with what you are planning on doing. I saw a thread yesturday about a stock GSR with IM, VTECKidd header, BC stage 2 cams and valve train, made 201/133 to the wheels. You were so close to that with your current set up, I think you can hit that with the planned mods.
