#146096 I dont want to kill the buzz, you got it for a great deal, BUT putting this intake manifold on without forced induction or at least Port matching the throttle body and intake and exhaust side of the head, as well as header will be pointless.
The purpose of these intake manifolds is to allow more air to enter the engine, and if you are not porting, it will only be for show.
If you want it for show, than by all means put it on, its quite simple. Just hoses, clips, and gaskets.

thats my $.02 8)

#146335 hey thanks guys .
yea i have heard there is no real benefit to them unless you have all the other mods .
wich i will be putting b16 pitons in my car and a 50 shot down the road .
and it would look alot better then the stock one .

not really true. This manifold alone will help out alot. The stock GSR unit is not that great. For this manifold you will want to get a different throttle cable and bracket. From an LS, or ITR. YOu might also want to get the ecu chipped to get rid of the butterflies that wont be present anymore.

#146610 yea i dont use the butterfly's anyways , i have a p28 chipped
so an ls cable and bracket? mine wont work

#147019 You can keep your stock TB and fuel rail, I had no issues with mine it bolted right up.

#148507 Skunk2 engineered the GSR IM to fit with the OE parts.

Port matching the TB to the IM will help, so will port matching the IM and the head, but it's not absolutely necessary.

The GSR IM isn't THAT bad, but it certainly is not the most efficient when it comes to power making. Honda designed it to be fuel efficient at high vacuum and relatively powerful at low vacuum.
