thats my problem. i am rather enticed by the old EF with the b16a1 in it.
they are pretty damn sexy :jerkbow:
plus they are cheap :D
but.. i am aware that they are shitty OBD0
and the EG's are OBD1.. so

the question is

would i be stupid to buy a EF just coz i fancy it?
or do they have as much ponentail as the EG?
i no i will have to convert it to OBD1.. but the saying that, i will end up changing the IM, the injectors, rail, dizzy and ecu... and maybe the tranny.

so all in all.. will it be worth doing all that shite, when i could just spend the extra £500+ on a EG??

#150914 I really like EF's they can look and be oh so sexy! Same goes for Eg's. Its just going to personal preference dude... If you want an EF, get one and build it up, there is just as much potential in an EF as an EG IMO.

they are rare as hell over here. never EVER see an EF
.. or an EG
its either-
a EK or EP
and then the EPs are usally 9/10 driven by a chav/ football fag.


we in Britian have a SERIOUS problem with "rice" altho, its not usally jap... its french shite

#150934 one plus is that EF's are lighter than EG's. Every gen civic gets bigger/heavier.

I like the 2 piece hatch/tail gate of the EG, and like the way the engine bay is layed out better with the wiper motor in the cowl area.
EG's also have the integra to swap parts from.

It's a tough call... EF's can be sexy as hell too when done right :thumb:

well... i might just go ahead and do the obd1 swap
whats the diff between the A1 and A2 then?
apart from the tranny, ECU, obd1 and about 10hp

any way that i can get a Skunk2 IM on there? apparently you have to mod it?

cant see why you'd ned tom just use obd1 inectors etc

?
