yea the civic shuttle, i saved it then uploaded it to my imagecave account, it must be copy righted and thats why it wont show up. :(

also i wonder, is this the same 4wd that is on the crv? im pretty sure its fwd, then goes into awd when its slipping?
must be a way to make it awd, and potentially rwd

- Thu Oct 15, 2009 5:36 pm #151007 well when i had my shitty crx's that i never got to drive due to rust issues....i was on a few forums where people took the 4wd wagon and swapped all the stuff over to the crx/ef hatches. Its a fair amount of work involved but i mean you get a 6th gear lol....but yea alot of people think that swaps gonna be easy and they end up quiting after a bit....also id suggest crx dash center console and retro fit the eg climate control instead of useing the easily broken 88-91 civics.....well at least i know the crx's was shit would snap right between the climate cold warm control and the rest.....

also the dpfi to mpfi swaps arent as complicated as they may seem so dont let that extinguish the thought of owning a dx model....but yea i do also think that you could use the crv 4wd trans in the car if you did the 4wd swap tho im sure finding a 5spd would prove hard to do....

swapping a b series wouldnt be to hard tho?
would i have to change the front brakes for the swap?
or would i just need the B series drive shafts?

- Tue Nov 24, 2009 6:39 pm #158191 i dont know bro- im all about oldschool.. so EF hatchys are great.. but eg hatchys are great to.. just younger thats all..personally, you cant go wrong unless your gonna try to sell it later on in life..you cant get much for a ef.. thats for sure..but you could break 3g's for a eg.. anyday.. so plan on holding onto that ef for a minute... :? :woot:

see a few months ago- iwas gonna trade my car for a 91 ef si dumped on si's.. my wife was like that nice but dont do it..and just build your car.. so i said ok..LOL..shhhht. she gave me the green light so now im doing little things to it...
