#151944 heyyy some of you may know that i have been complaing about crappy gas mileage, well i did a valve adjustment and top end engine clean, and replaced the o2 sensor, and i have access to top of the line equiment at school, so i have check every sensor, checked for vaccum leaks, checked for leaks in the evap system, i hooked it up to the smog machines, i even did a compression and cylinder leak down test and EVERYTHING was with specs.
so i have been going nuts, then i noticed that one nite i put 9$ in which was like 3 gallons, and it gave me half a tank, when the sedan tanks are 11.9 gallons..

so that said..lol
i talked to some of the teachers
and i was telling them that when i fill the tank compeletly full it takes about 170-180 miles to get to half a tank, then when i hit half a tank i can go throught that half a tank in 25 miles, i dont drive no diff then when the tank is full, so my teacher told me to ground the fuel sending unit, and it turns out that my fuel sending unit is bad..

as im typing this my gauge shows almost on the E but when i took out my fuel pump and looked inside the tank im what it looks like to be half a tank..

soooo now that is out my question to you guys are how do i change the fuel sending unit??
i dont see no bolts or screws..
do i have to drop the tank??

THANKS for reading this books..lol
and thanks in advance for the help
