- Sat Oct 31, 2009 4:09 am #153908 my hatch rattles supppper bad! what can be done to fix this problem??? i dont have the hatch struts on the window right now but i ordered some, wouold this make it rattle?? i mean this rattle is crazzzzy bad

- Sat Oct 31, 2009 4:12 am #153909 did you check the bolts that mount it to the roof, also check the parts that mount to the glass make sure they are tight. your hatch should latch nice and tight, the gas lifts shouldnt have any thing to do with it.

- Sat Oct 31, 2009 4:03 pm #153975 Yup What he said^.. the struts being missing wont make it rattle... check the 4 screw up top.. if you go outside you hatch and pull on the window, is it loose and shakey???

- Mon Nov 02, 2009 3:56 am #154241 ok ill try tightening all the bolts. but yes if i got out side thew car the rear hatch is shakey and i can pull it up a lil bit. ill try tightening the bolts now and let you guys kjnow what happens., thanks again

- Mon Nov 02, 2009 4:02 am #154245 You can always adjust the latch on the window itself. Move it closer to the glass, and it will make it seal tighter.

- Mon Nov 02, 2009 5:30 pm #154355 take the black plastic cover off the latch on the glass. IT cover the wiper motor if you have that.

Should be two allen bolts, just loosen and move the latch which ever way it needs to move to seal better.
