Winter plans for your civic?

What kinds of things do you have planned for your car while it's in hibernation?


I plan to pay attention to some details that have been bothering me for a while:
paint some suspension parts, polish exterior paint & buff, paint my valve cover & maybe some other engine components, paint my muffler black, get my interior back together, get my new front bumper painter & installed.

Also want to refinish a set of fat 5's I have had in storage...

I have really been thinking about repainting my whole car. The olive/army green was fresh when I did it in 2006 but now cars everywhere have it. I might wait a little longer since I feel like I am just finishing the car up and finally getting to drive it.

- Wed Nov 11, 2009 11:07 pm #156086 well depending on what happens with the shitty camry my moms gonna be driving I may be able to take my honda off the road....and with that i am going to be bracing it up making things a bit stiff and seeing about doing a partial wire tuck or something. then dropping in a Bseries that i have sitting in my shed....weather permitting i may see what i can do about upgrading to power mirrors and doing some other interior stuff with it as well. i so wish i could get my hands on a gathers rear interior i could but dont have the money for it lol....

And besides that i want to upgrade the lighting and do a few things here and there. finish up the body work on her. and possibly save up for a spray of red in the spring.....we will see what happens.

I could drive it during my winter but in NY we use salt and after spending time fixing that damn rust i want to try my best for now to keep it rust free......

- Wed Nov 11, 2009 11:31 pm #156092 I will be cleaning and organizing. After this I will be taking pictures and making a list of the mods and parts available. Prepping the Hatch for sale. I will be sad to see her go, but I'm moving to a new stage of life and have chosen a different route.

Putting on side markers and OEM headlights for the most part

Maybe replacing the B16s Valve stem seals.

And saving money to SPRAY the Y7 :twisted:

I plan on slipping a b18c1 or a b18b1 block under my b16 head sometime this winter.

I need to install my GSR reas disc brakes. Get the correct E-brake and brake cables, prop valve, Integra RS master cylinder. If i find a cheap set of GSR front brakes ill install them too. BYS spoiler,New Wheels and possibly change some ball joints and tie rod ends.

I want a Titan or Frontier badly. But im going to wait a few years to get one. My house is getting passed down to me and it needs lots of improvments due to being so old. So most of my money and time will be into updating the house. Once thats somewhat taken care of ill be looking more seriously into a truck.
