#158573 Sup guys I swaped my D15B mani obd1 to a D16y8 obd2 has anybody else done it need to figure out how the Vacuum lines go if there different and sensors also. :?

#158579 its not a d15b but if you look at the how-to section on the main forum page (scroll down its there) and i think its teal dx that did a y8 mini me swap or it was a z6 with y8 intake anyhow its a good source look at that and it should help greatly...

#158901 yeah you'll need to or you will have a vacuum leak. plug those 4 tiny holes and then cap off the extra vac lines :thumb:
Also use the IM gasket for the 99-00 y8

#159482 sounds like you have a vacuum leak, or ait pockets in coolant can cause it too. As well as a dirty IACV, FITV... there's a lot of things.

Usually it is vacuum leak, especially if you just put a new manifold on.
listen for a hissing noise under the hood and find where it is from.

well wen i found out the i had to do the t splitter and IAT drilled whole i took off the mani and what not but before i did so i turned on the car and it didnt do that. Now its doing it ill tire to find a link.

#159494 found the link now it revs to 2000 rpms then once i give it gas it drops to 700rpms then back up to 2000rpms.

how can i get rid of air pockets in coolant??

#159543 when engine is cold, take off rad cap.
Start car and let idle until up to normal operating temperature. Thermostat will open, if not give a tiny bit of gas. Keep topping off radiator with coolant when it gets low.
