fresh up my b16a

i have had my eg for a year now
its got 250.000 klm on it.not sure about the engine but it runs great
i dont know much.. but whould it be good if ihad my engine freshend up abit
like maybe polishing the pistons or cylinder head and revalve?
whats the cheapest way to get my engine to be more new!!!

- Fri Dec 04, 2009 6:11 pm #160007 Replace all the gaskets,seals,t-belt,water pump,timing belt tentioner. Umm check that valves? could us a valve adjustment after all those miles. Then the obvious maintaince like oil change, trans flush, plugs, wires, dizzy cap,rotor.
That would be one the laest expensive ways to freshin up a B16.

- Sat Dec 05, 2009 4:09 am #160092 pretty much what he said. Covers what you need to freshen it up. If you want to go more than that, you can rebuild it. But since you say it runs fine, I wouldnt mess with it like that.
