#160416 hey guys whats up .. i was in the procces of taking the head off my ls . everything was off , the only thing i had to do was break lose the head studs . so all of them were lose and i go to my last one and its stripped ! . can anyone give me advice on how to take it out ?
i tried drilling a whole in the head of the stud and tapping it but that didnt work . anyone help me out plz ? thanks i appreciate it

#160427 They sell reverse sockets that are used for removing wheel locks & stripped wheel studs. I saw some in a matco tools catalog. I bet they have them for studs too. You won't get the torque you need by drilling a hole inside, you need to grab the outside of the stud.

or one thing to try is grinding 2 flat sides and using a big pair of vise grips
