#163418 ive done it myself before and it was kinda difficult if its your first time. when u go to a professional and they usually gaurantee their work and will warranty it. if money is an issie u may not have a choice. just take ur time and follow ALL the directions.

#163423 u cut it to size then peel apart and apply with soapy water. make sure u use like a credit card to smooth oput bubbles. ive been told its easier to cut using the outside but apply on the inside.

#163426 its not easy. but if you do it yourself, make sure you get the good tint. like 3m or ask a local tinter and ask what product they use. lets say your toing the rear window for ex. you want to wet the outside glass with soap and water. then lay your tint down. ther will be 1 side thats not stick and another that is like a sticker with clear plastic on it. dont remove this yet. now that you have laied it on your rear glass you want to cut it the same size as the window. now remove it off. then you want to install on the inside. first use soapy water and spray the inside window down. remove the clear fillm from 1 side witch is the side toward the window aka stick side. the soap n water will alow you to move the tint for a short time till you line it up. once your all lined up, use a credit car (perfer one with no ruff edges. to prvent scratching the tint) and start from thin inside and smothe it out toward the outside. make sure to remove as many bubbles ass possible. if you end up with some small one that is actually normal and over time the heat will evap the moisture and the bubbles will settle. i just watch alot of tinters tint. i had to take cars at my shop that had glass replace that had tint on it to be replaced so i got to watch. but dont be mad at me if it does not work. just tryen to give up as much info i have to help :thumb:

#163469 have tinted a few cars a results are not professional quality but close. you cab order pre cut tint or you can cut it yourself. If you are going to buy the tint by the roll I personally reccomend Llumar tint. lots of shops use it and when i was working at Crutchfield we did a few tint job using it but later decided that stero shit was what we were good at. anyway. dont just use some soap go to the part store and get the solution you mix in a spray bottle. Make sure you are careful when cutting tint on outside because it has to flip and you will cut it backwards if not careful. look for labels on the shit piece labels face out for cutting. spray solution on outside of window and lay tint backwards to cut it out to size then do as everyone else reccomended. also you can use a heat gun but be careful. i wont go into that because I really think you should get the basic idea first. pm me later if you have any questions. my jobs came out with a small crease or two on each window.
