Hello civic-eg.com I am doing a build on my hatch and have some questions I need answered.
1- my hatch is a 92 civic dx, it has a rear disc conversion(came with the car) and the right rear wheel is bent a little, I have checked it underneath and everything body wise is straight. I am pretty sure it is the hub, anyway I need to know what rear hub and trailing arm it is or will fit on there to buy. Are the civic si's and integra's all the same?
2-I am building a b20 vtec setup and was wondering if a type r oil pump will fit?
3-I heard the 92 civic dx's were prewired from the factory with vtec, if this is true does anybody have a pic of were the conector would be?
4-currently I have a ls vtec set up in the hatch, and it has a sound in it that sounds like a marble bouncing around, now it only does it here and there not all the time, it allmost sounds like it's pinging just louder. it's not a knock cause I here it at idle sometimes. I have adjusted the valves and checked the head and there is no problems. Oil pressure is good. I have heard people say that ls vtecs make noise but I dont like it and want to get it fixed.
5-I am sure the answer to this question is on this site somewere but I have adhd and dont have the paitience to search for it so does anybody know the operating temp for a ls vtec setup, and what temp is the fan supposed to come on?
6-when you buy dual valve springs, do you only get them for the intake side, or should there be dual springs on the intake and exhaust valves?
