I was hoping to run into someone parting out there car or something like that. Also not sure what the name of the correct wiring harness for the rear window defrost is. The honda dealer can't even tell me.

- Sat Jan 02, 2010 5:17 pm #165337 well the rear window defrost is in the same long harness intertwined with the connection for the rear tail lights connects on the drivers side near the seatbelt id just callit a rear interior harness, or sub harness ....

yep this is an awsome site i belonged to a ton in the past now im here most of the time lol....

but yea from what i read thats it and i know the rear wiper harness dosent clip out thats what the black tubes are for if you didnt know...it'll still work if you dont have a rear wiper. so im 90% sure thats the rear harness that your looking for

I tried to buy it but ebay flashed me a msg saying the seller has blocked me from buying. I contacted the seller and he said that he didn't know what to tell me.

That is your hatch in the picture? Nice, I love this hatch, it is my second. Just wish the guy who owned it before me didn't just cut out the wiring harness. Clown.

I recently purchased what I thought was the correct harness from honda but it turned out to be the tailgate wiring harness. It looked pretty similar to this.

yepperz thats my hatch and ill have to figure this out because i am almost certain thats the correct harness because it has the single tabs for the defroster on the rear window ...... since im 98%positive that the rear wiper set up on there goes in the same hole as the wires for the defroster and im certain that the wires arent like that on the tailgate where there is a clip the defrosters are in the harness they cannot be taken out unless you clip them....

what is cut on your harness maybe you can go ahead and i can help you wire stuff back up or something....i mean itd be easier to find a harness and just plug andd play however apparently finding the harness is going to be hard....

well ill keep an eye out i know i get a hatch or two every now and then in my junkyard so if i find something ill let you know the thing that sucks is its a semi large harness since it goes from a rather large plug on the drivers side to the rear goign to both tail lights, the hatch plug(plugs into the hatch tail gate harness) and of coarse the defroster and depending on what model mainly the si hatch the trunk light.....

but yea ill keep an eye out

I've been looking at your car and I have a question for you. What do you think about regular stock suspension compared to coil overs.

I notice that your car looks stock. I have half and half. Stock rear and slammed front with cheapo coilovers. I think I am going to purchase the oem suspension for the front and add just some stiff lowereing springs for a nice stance.

There aren't any tuner shops that I know of here where I live and I am working my way through some mechanics. Just thought I would get a some good knowledge from you

What kind of plans you got for your hatch?
