sweet deal is it a obd1 dohc zc?? or the obd0? either one will work 88on up just need to switch out a couple things....its looking good and for that price id definately be selling my LS and getting that DOHC zc lol thats really the only other motor ill get.....

What are you planning on doing for the ecu? getting a P29 is very hard so id suggest finding a obd1 ecu and burning a map of a P29if you arent planning on turboing it off the bat.

if you are planning on doing a turbo right off the bat lol id suggest going ahead and gettinga tunable ecu programmer or something like that. this way you can tune it so you dont blow her up or something like that....

Also if you dont like the valve cover theres another style out there for a Rover it looks a heck of alot better than the other valve cover

- Sun Jan 03, 2010 7:20 am #165463 the zc comes with almost nothing, i found another motor d16z6 for same price complete minus tranny, 156,XXX miles out of a del sol, im going to look at it, seems like the better deal to me since its complete and in running cond.

- Sun Jan 03, 2010 6:55 pm #165528 i checked out the d16z6 today, its in great shape, needs a harness (has been cut) ecu and header/exhaust manifold. 250 will take it, i plan on picking it up thursday instead of the zc, i might rbuild it before it goes in. this will be a turbo build, ill keep you guys posted

car is coming along nicely, and you must be crazy to think that a cobalt or a lude is better looking then a eg hatch, maybe in some peoples eyes the lude but deffinetly not the cobalt uuuuugggggghhhhhhh.

- Mon Jan 04, 2010 5:00 am #165611 I dont want to sound like a dick or anything and I deffinetly know what its like to build a car on a budget, but y go with the z6? you could get a complete running gaurenteed b20 from passwordjdm.com shipped for 549.00, or find a ls swap done at a u pull it junkyard, if you find one at a upull it you can usually get the whole swap for around 5-600, just my 2 cents.

because i dont want a b-series, i want a fast sohc, so turbo is in the future

edit: and im getting the complet running z6 for 250
