#162854 Yea if your looking straight at the d15 itm under the front left runner there is a coolant line that runs from there to the bottom of the throttle body and on th z6 that isn't there. But yea I was just so frustrated earlier but this def helps thanx I'll let you know how I make out

#163234 Run a new hose from that outlet to the nipple that's roughly in the same place on the passenger side. If you follow the line from your IACV it goes there. You can bypass the throttle body and IACV coolant lines and pick up almost as much hp as you get from a CAI.

Just make sure you put a solid gasket between your FITV and throttle body or else you'll have a major vacuum leak. The IACV lines can be left open. In fact you can just remove them via two screws.

#166711 ran into another problem today....what is the black thing in the back of the mani....it plugs into the harness....theres a hose on it and there was a port to plug into the old mani and the z6 doesnt have it im wondering if it is even needed to be plugged in to the mani cuz the hole is so small?

#166766 Sounds like you are describing the EVAP Purge Control Solenoid Valve.
You need to have it plugged into the harness or you'll get a CEL, but I think it will still run with the vac lines not going to it. It has a line going to the intake manifold and the other goes to the charcoal canister.

#166932 i think it has one going to the intake mani and to the catch can not the charcoal canister unless that is the charcoal...

#169100 ok new problem....i put the mani on and now the car will barely turn over but will......it will stay running but when i hit the gas it dies right out....idles like absolute shit too and throws engine light....as soon as i hit the gas it just sputters and dies....and back to the t hose thing the hose comes out of the block then into my iacv then out and into the thing underneath the throttle body then i spliced tat hose into the other coolant line with a t hose im just wondering if thats right and if not is that my problem....im thinkin maybe i can take all the stuff off the b7 and put it on the z6 and correct this...idk what do you guys think....im just mad cuz now i cant drive my car and i just got the blades :eh:
