hello all,
i am about to start in a supercharger adventure for my ej2 d16z6, i was wondering if any ne could help me and not just say go turbo im ding this to test my skills with a spanner save some money and have a streetable power. i have sold my rx7 and mazda 323 gtr to get some funds to start a buisniss so this is a bit of a budget build. any advice or construtive critisizem is welcome
The plans to keep temps down.
i have an eaton supercharger from a bmw mini (1.6l) eaton 45 i think, i am hoping to run a small topmount and water/methonal injection to keep temps down. the manifold with be heat coated and heat wrapped with a custom heat sheild and cold air feed to help stop heat soak on the supercharger its self.
another step to keep temps down vented hood and switchable fan to help the cooler and or supercharger cool down.
What i have to work with
the d16z6 has bin fully rebuilt using only the best parts inc a new low milage head this has had polish and ported work done inc the intake manifold. bin slightly skimmed lightweight flywheel brand new clutch stage 1. lightweight pully with harmonic balancer extra pully for the supercharger. adjsutable cam gear, wire tucked fuel pressure regulator, oil cooler. probs a little more work i cant rember. also has a hondata s100 fitted
Things i need to know?
wat injectors to run thats cheap
what bypass valve to use
what else am i missing out im sure theres summink
any more adivce would be great
