Appearance, Paint & Body Work

#171764 So i have this problem, when i got my car i later realized it had front end damage behind the bumper. The frame is straight but my support is totally gone. It's already a pain in the ass to shut my hood i have to pull the bumper up and hope it shuts.

Asked the body shop and they said it would be a lot of work and wouldn't really pay off if i ever sold the car. Although, i don't want to sell the car i don't want to pay like 500+ for labor for a radiator support.

What do you guys think? I kinda have to have someone else do this for me cuz i don't have the time/tool/welder.

What would you do in this spot?

#171766 well since i have friends who have welders even tho i have one myself....but if i didnt i would have them help me

you may be able to talk to a welding shop and see what they say if you drill off the core support etc....

Or if you do it correctly you can drill out the spot welds and instead of welding on the core support you can bolt it on itll be a bit tougher due to where you would bolt it on but yea thatd be your best bet if you cant weld it and itd be abit cheaper since oyu can do it by yourself...
