also even if your car ends up with a salvage title it will still be fine and 9/10 for that bit of damage i dont think they would salvage your title but im not sure a salvage car is well less in value yes but its still a car and if you really wanted to you could find a way to unsalvage it

i dont think the above statement is true

once the car was totaled and then repaired it is branded forever, regardless of who fixed it...

if the car was totaled but not reported then it obviously still has a clean title

of course, i have heard of people using a title from a car they used for parts and cut up and just kept the title, of course this is not legal

get him for all hes worth, then just bend the core support up and get a new bumper and hood.... then get the whole car painted.

If it was his fault, id say claim insurance, cause youll get paid.
If you have liability only, id say pass on claiming it and get money from the dude.

But if hes willing to pay out of pocket and you feel like he'll come through, go with that. Insurance will go up if you claim, and you also risk those assholes at the insurance place totalling your car. they love totalling.

dam thats mean. haha im a honest guy so idk if i can do that to someone and bend that shit some more. and about the claiming i dont know if i can if i havent registered the car yet. i just got the car not to long ago. -_-

HE hit you with HIS jeep and YOU have to suffer with a fucked up bumper when it was HIS fault. Personaly, i'd be pissed if i had to drive my car around with a fucked up hood and bumper because some fucking moron couldnt check his goddamn mirror. And the whole time id be driving id be thinking that everyone who saw my car thought. "dumbass crashed his rice burner" knowing damn well it wasnt my fault. Soooooo. get that sommabitch for all the dough. Go to a real expensive place and get a real big quote and show him how much it will cost to fix HIS fuck up.


and now that im reading that it is kinda mean, but honesty wont get you too far in this fucked up world.

okay if i report to insurance wont they need me to claim it? idk insurance companys always salvaged cars. its strange. but i guess thats how they make a living am i right?

yeah 3200 is a lot of money. i went to honda i probably will take even 2500. cause if didnt go to honda i would get the same repair for cheaper but the thing is if he hit me i want to go to the most quilfied shop to get a estimate. i need my money worth. tehe.

i would think doing that would be pretty mean. and im pretty sure hes going to want to pay since hes only 16 his insurance would probably sky rocket. and what you just said is what i was thinking today driving my car to school. everyone seeing my fucked up sol saying that stupid kid with his ricer rear ended someone. hahaha. but it wasnt my fault he backed up into me. great minds think alike lol. i stayed pretty calm throughout the ordeal though. no reason to get mad only thing i said was fawk when i got out the car. but there was no reason to get mad. cause at the end of the day it wasnt my fault and im getting paid.
haha yeah i could probably bend the core support. to fix it lol.

lol thats still way to little for my liking. i would at least gotten 200 so i could get a bumper and get it painted. but thats just me. haha.

You can buy it back for under $500 most likely, but youll have the salvage title if you buy it back.

If i were you, id go buy a clean shell and swap all of the stuff over.
then you can donate the crashed shell to some free local pickup company and get a tax credit. Thats just what i did. lol

its just near impossible to get a decent dollar for it later on if you go to sell it

as for how much it is to buy, you have to call your insurance company and talk to them
