#173638 could just be the design of the header but if it turned bright orange and the other one didnt change at all im guessing that your one cylinder isnt fireing now this could be due to no spark......no compression maybe a stuck valve or something like that.....improper valve clearence......faulty injector and yea

dose it have any check engine lights? and how dose it sound and putputering or sputtering etc....

#173708 well if that dosent work id suggest going and getting a compresion tes done you can do it with the help of a friend and just check the compressions.....if that one is getting compressin and you know its getting spark more than likely its a faulty injector because your getting a air if the valves are correctly gapped, and theres spark.....so your missing a part of the equation the injector.....

worse case scenario there could be a bad valve in the head....and thats worse case scenario...

but check those other things first

#173814 Unbolt the header from the secondary pipe and see if the holes line up. By what you're describing it sounds like a mismatch. Some OEM exhausts collect all four into one and some collect the four into two.

forgot about that since it is aftermarket......

id pull off the header itself from the head and look at the gasket......look and see if there is some black on all 4 cyl.....and if its shooting in the header ......

thatd be another thing to look at.

#173818 ok now if it was shooting into the header what would be the problem and what iam i looking for exatly

#173822 ok if it was shooting into the header then you will see black carbon no matter how clean your motor was it will have a fine black carbon dusting hopefully it ran long enough for that.....

now if it lines up then id check the injectors.

but if it dosent line up that could possibly be your problem....

#173924 also today i just found out that i have no pcv vavle could that also be a prob also i do not see were it would go in my intake manifold
User avatar

#173929 the 93 integras well da integras lets just put it that way have a different intake manifold as well as the 96 on up integras the manifold that has teh pcv valve cutout is on the 94-95 integra so id run a line where its not going to come into contact with anything and somewhere in there place one.....

a pcv valve not being present would have problems but yea seems like theres a number of problems resulting in your problem just slowly fix it all make sure double check and you should be good to go after that any info on the exhaust manifold?
