- Wed Mar 10, 2010 6:13 pm #180431 right, ive got a 93 lsi d15b2 peice of crap and a D16z6 lump(head,blok,box, ecu, loom,mani's,ect) and i am wondering if there is anything else i need to buy/change/modify/adjust/brake to swap the engines over. will i need sum shit for tha vtec??im rebuilding the engine first but i wanna be prepared coz im on a time limit lol

help would be grately appreciated!

as above mate, with my last conversion i swapped a full esi dash loom into my car so it was a full plug and play, if yo dont do that you will need to addd the wiring for the vtec solonoid switch etc

If your current car is fuel injected, then yeah you're fine. If it's carb, then you'll have to convert to EFI. But you said you have the wiring loom so you're all set.
