#181969 If the crank seal is bad then that means the motor is on it's way out. Once the crank is out of balance it's all over.

#182402 you got a good start but i would fix that leak first. other than that i had a z6 and i put a full skunk 2 valve train, cam, cam gear, high comp valves with a port and polish. i also had a full exhaust system with a short ram intake. with the set up i had it ran great

#182762 i was thinkin about changin my clutch an stayin with the D series i heard the D series are what alot people dnt think it is so thats why iam stay with it a play it what i can work with ,but ...takin out the a/c would make it pull a lil bit more harder

#182779 You can remove the a/c belt it wont pull harder but it will give you some hp back due to drag on the motor the same with the power steering belt. You can also remove the whole a/c system and shave about 25 pounds off of the car. Good luck with the build :thumb:

#182857 iam have to stay with my power steering lol but iam still think about my a/c but other than that it would be smart to just change out the clutch it feels iam not gettin the torqe what kinda transmissin ususallly comes with a d16z6

#182860 the z6 motor would have came with a si trans if it was in a si hatch, or a ex trans if it was in an ex coupe, ive heard some say the ex and si trans are diff, others say there the same, i cant confirm or deny this, i think there pretty close to the same tho. the sohc si trans isnt to be confused with a b16 si trans... as for your ac, the only time the ac robs power is when the clutch on the compressor is engaged, as far as crusing with the ac off is robs virtyally no power, but it will save on weight :thumb:
