questions about an ls swap

- Wed Mar 17, 2010 10:54 pm #181936 Unsure about the whole a/c thing i think you would need the a/c bracket from a Del sol with a b but not completely sure....

on the other answer it sorta is take a bit more to do a n/a build on a ls than lets say a B18c since the ls is more T+ than na more than likely you would be doing a head swap for vtec and stuff.....

I get you....but I wouldn't be able to do an ls/VTEC Build because I live in cali I don't think id be able to get it bard

Well id love a b16 but there fairly expensive. So it was either a ls or d15b or a d16z6

- Thu Mar 18, 2010 4:13 am #181982 ls bro. you wont be disapointed. is strait forward. bars very easy. plus parts for ls are a dime a dozen. i did the swap in les than half day. n/a build with ls would scoot. yes you can run a/c with a delsol with b16 a/c bracket. i have my power steering but no a/c. from know what position your in from experiance is, how much you wanna spend? v-tec or non?
sohc or dohc? to be or not to be? haha.

if it isnt Mr.Rotm haha havent seen you in a while.well i dont have alot of money so all i want is the best bang for ur buck.i feel like my d15 is gonna crap on me anytime soon. so im looking for something from 500-700$ that i wont Have to swap again because it has a scarce amount of aftermarket parts for it. :thumb:

- Thu Mar 18, 2010 4:31 am #181987 well with that amount of money your not gonna get much. just get on craigslist for local search. like in elk grove or stockton. i see tons of swaps on there.but look to spen more toward like 1500 to get it all done.

also havent been on caus im doing a wire tuck. :thumb: just fineshed m,ain harness. tomorrow is headlight tuck 8)

a B swap will cost close to double that...

i kinda knew that but i wasent planning on doing all the work in one smack. i was planning on buying engine ,swap it in...get all the parts needed for the na build,then .pull it out and add all parts

- Thu Mar 18, 2010 4:39 am #181993 no it wont. 1500$ is the price here. 3k for n ls you bonked your head. i can get a full gsr swap for 3k. i paid 600$ for a complet teggy. it was wrecked. i got the full swap and the disk brake coversion.

are you talking to juice or me...im kinda confused.. i thought about getting a wrecked integra too and getting the engine and rdb conversion and seats.

and 3k for a GSR swap better be low miles and a warranty...
