Alright well i live on dirt roads which allows dust get in my car. But when i drive down the road dirt just blows in like crazy. It happens even when i dont have my fan on. Does anyone have this problem an know a way to prevent this from happening?

did you press the recirculating button on your air control? Does that help?

my car had a light rattle coming from the vents when i took the cabin filter out it was full of leaves and they had punctured a hole through the filter itself.

OP, regardless of what other posters have said above, no 5th Gen Civics got a cabin/pollen filter. (These mount in your cabin ducting behind your glove box.) Europe did get an optional one you could buy at the dealer, but these are now out of production. You can, however, perform a retrofit, which is an excellent mod. I wrote the DIY on this. I currently have a CR-V evap assembly w/ filter in my 1994 Civic. There are other options, too, such as from a 98-01 Integra, or 98-00 Civic.
