- Tue Mar 30, 2010 4:30 am #184513 I bought this civic for $2,100, the next day the engine threw a rod and ruined the entire engine but now I have the d16z6 in it.

this bad boy has an unmatched color body kit and a cracked front bumper.

I found a panel for $10 and snapped it right in.

Ebay side mirrors they look tacky though, so they are going to get painted soon.

- Tue Mar 30, 2010 4:38 am #184517 My d16z6 with 54,000 miles on it that I got from a junkyard with warranty for $550, it was verrry hard to find this little guy. Not enough for the upgraded b series. Maybe turbo it with rods and pistons this summer.





The car after a week of work on it. I bought the OEM front bumper for it and took off the crappy body kit front bumper and the back bumper and sideskirts will stay since they are bondoed on and not too bad looking but would like the stock except i don't have a month to do that whole bumper swap. No rust on it and just a small dent that I'm going to get out this weekend. In may I'm having it professionally painted white.

well i dont know if you like the OEM cluster or not but i have a matrix cluster with tach heres a picture i dont like this and i want OEM back in my car im not a fan of the white IMO



well the car isn't perfect nor is it bad but don't listen to what others say that you should do with your car its yours and you do what ever you like hell sometimes i like rice everyone does some time.

the biggest thing i recommend is going all out and having fun.

- Tue Mar 30, 2010 5:00 am #184524 I want to go all out JDM besides the side skirts and back bumper, which the ricey kid had to put on and bondo them on to add to that is dumb. After a nice overall white paint job it won't be too bad. The thing runs amazing and ye mid summer it should be perfect how I want it. Also pushing around 200hp hopefully this summer with some work. I'm not all about huge body kits and all that jazz. Just a clean looking car.

- Tue Mar 30, 2010 3:36 pm #184597 Yea the body kit isn't too horrible it's just everytime the front body kit bumper hit something it would crack and break like crazy, I had to probably fix it 5 times. So the stock bumper with a type r lip should look better and be a better quality. The body kit is called the bomber body kit, it's only like $280 or something for the full kit.

- Tue Mar 30, 2010 6:22 pm #184632 thats the bad thing about fiber glass bodykit they can break easy. i rather get a bodykit off hear http://www.duraflexbodykits.com/ because they are plastic not fiber glass so they will bend and only scrap no crack or break off. but i will never buy a bodykit i make mine.

The trim that goes around my stereo, there is a piece cracked off and I have no idea how to replace that piece. Any description how to. I found the piece in junyards but had no idea how to get it off. It is around the radio and ac and heat controls then goes across the steering wheel.
