helpz me, ma b20 del sol is counting on u!

- Tue Apr 06, 2010 11:40 pm #185957 ok, so started the b20 del sol swap....the one thing holding me back at the moment is the shift linkage stabilizer... i got the shift linkage to fit, but the stabilizer like doesn't match up...do i need to take the one from the donor (eg coupe) that the b20 was in before and put that in the del sol? and if so do i swap both the linkage and the stabilizer?

no i dont think there the same friend.... about 98% sure there diff.

- Wed Apr 14, 2010 4:31 am #187594 eg shift linkage fits into a del sol but wen ur in 4th gear it looks like ur in neutral the eg linkage is 2 inches shorter than a del sol linkage

yeah i knew the eg linkage was shorter, the delsol linkage is longer, you could extend the linkage your self, a yard near me actually had the whold delsol vtec swap, thats the linkage you need friend :thumb: id try ebay and see what you get....

even if it fits it dosent mean its 100% rite....

hasport and avid make good after market linkage, i got hasport for my hatch...

- Wed Apr 14, 2010 7:30 pm #187716 You gotta have del sol linkage, or cut and add 2 inches to eg linkage, I had cut/welded linkage on my car at first, But I then switched to Hasport linkage, cause welded linkage is sketchy.

so what everyone is sayen is he needs the linkage from a b16 del sol???
the del sol d series linkage wont work right?
