Help plz b18a

- Mon Apr 12, 2010 2:11 am #187082 for the past 3 months i have been working on a 93 ls swap into a 92 dx hatch.
I got the car as a shell and with not a thing in it. so i got a 94 dx harness for it. as of right now this is my set up. 93 ls motor,ls trans, obd2 ls intake manifold,94 ls tb, the ecu is a pc4 out of a 93 da 5 speed. seems like it all work right? lol
the car is almost done and this is the last prob i am having. cel code 3 and cel code 14 map sensor and iac.
now i test my iac plug and its not getting any power to it at all at 1st i thought it was the plug so i went to the ecu and tested the iac wire at the back of the 26 pin plug. still nothing no power is coming out at all and it is making the car idle really woopy. also i tried to direct conect it to the batery like running a wire from the postive to the positive on the iac and still nonthing lol :x also i have tried a diffrent ecu thinking it was that and still nothing. does any one have any ideas plz help if you can thank so much

- Mon Apr 12, 2010 10:40 pm #187289 i might be wrong but who said u needed a da mani? a da does not come with obd2. u need one from a dc teggy like 94 n up. but im im kinda like in a weird spot cause it should be a direct bolt in and plug n play... what exactly do you have??? like the full setup.

92-93 DA's are OBD1.

- Tue Apr 13, 2010 3:37 am #187332 all i no it is from a DC integra cuz it has les vaccum lines. and i have a 94 teg thottle body and i was jw does it matter if the tp is auto or 5 speed

92-93 DA's are OBD1.


ya i know but he said it was an obd2 mani.

- Wed Apr 14, 2010 3:45 pm #187662 i have used obd0,1, and 2 parts interchangeably, except for inj, as the plugs are different, the intake manifold has nothing to do with it and neither dose your tps being from an auto, as long as your cooling lines going thru the tb are right... , from what you have said it sounds like there is a wiring issue in your cars chassis harness....
