- Mon Apr 26, 2010 5:33 am #190080 Would it be safe to assume simply slapping some ZC pistons in a D16a6 would make 12 to 1 compression? or more importantly would it even work? my buddy wants to rebuild the a6 with a slightly built head and put ZC pistons in it and have 12 to 1 compression.

what you guys think?

im runing thee same set up with y8 head no problems at all
you need good tuning and 91 octane gas

This is a compression calc so you see what your compression will be with different piston/head combos. Pretty cool. Should be useful.

It also tells you if the pistons will be above or below the deck ... which is also nice.
