#192887 what engine do you have and what grade of fuel are you running, it sounds like it could be a spark nock or something, espically if your enigne only dose it under a load.... just a thought tho

#192907 now it's getting to be a tough one...
have you checked ignition timing with a timing gun?

I think it's definitely ignition related.

are your grounds good? (valve cover, thermostat, tranny housing)?

#192908 I haven't checked ignition timing with the gun.
Yea all of the ground are good.
This problem started after I adjusted the valve lash, maybe that affected it?

#192924 It could be the valve lash. Mine did that when i replaced the cam in my d16 after i adjusted the lash it was all better. I would check the lash first then the ignition timing

well there you go :thumb:
Hondas are engineered pretty well. Usually when you change something and then a problem starts, it has to do with what you changed.

#193068 So should I pump the higher gas now?

#193076 id double check the valves, they may be too tight, double check them you just want a slight drag on the feeler guage... and then id get high test gas... :thumb: if you never touched the timing belt when you did your tuneup that shouldnt be an issue, but double checking dosent hurt...
