here's a comparison of those vs the E55bixenon's, which are dirt cheap for retrofitting, and readily available.

as you can see the E55's have a much larger hot spot which allows for better distance. many people who've used the PNP projector complain that they lack distance.

- Fri May 14, 2010 4:13 am #194133 since we're on this topic, should i buy different headlights before doing a retrofit? I heard the lines on stock headlights distorts the light output? I read somewhere (forgot which forum) that someone used tyc headlights and swapped projectors, but I'm not a fan of those.

and yes the stock lens will distort your output severely
