Its a d15b7 with 250k, i/h/e
My motor will make a pop noise every few seconds, it sounds like a leak in the exhuast. Lost most of the low end power and while I'm driving in 5th gear around 1500 rpms it will shake really bad.

Any ideas?

I agree with ignition, usually the first thing that causes things like this.
Also poor timing and a bad o2 sensor are common issues as well.

- Fri May 21, 2010 3:20 pm #195920 Pop noise is usually excess fuel igniting in the exhaust. You may be running rich due to a stuck injector. But any recommendation based on your vague description of the problem is a long shot.

- Sat May 22, 2010 4:27 am #196106 im currently having this problem...mine isnt that bad but i also have never had an 02 sensor, im picking one up tomorrow and gonna install...sooo if this fixes my problem then i think you should give one.
