i am changing the power steering pump on my b16a, i can't get the belt to come over the pump, is there an adjuster somewhere or what is the problem

if youre changing it just cut the old one.

...you dont want a new pump and an old belt. change it all at the same time.

Yes, there's an adjustment nut right on the pump.
Don't waste a good belt. Re-use it! It's not a timing belt!
