nice find! you should be able to play with the linkage a bit and find neutral or spin it while its in gear, shouldnt be much resistance without cvs and wheels attached to the tranny

If the linkage is attached, give it a tug or push until it is in the middle position. All the way in will be in 3rd, all the way out will be in 4th. You want it in the middle position = neutral. If the linkage isn't attached, you can stick a screwdriver in the hole where the bitch pin would normally go and 'shift' the tranny to the middle position with that.

102 sounds like a good deal you got there mate. im currently lookin d15b, and the cheapest i could find was 230

yes, pretty much same. z6 produce 128 bhp n d15b 130 bhp. i just like to stay at d15 and its just sound different

don't worry about it.
i have both, they are so mucht the same you can't tell the difference.
at least the z6 you can use other pistons, we can't get d15b (p08's) in the states.

well its home, I got it in the car where the passenger seat was. Now I have it back, it looks like I got 2 of a lot of stuff... 2 looms, 2 fuel rails with injectors, 2 throttle bodies (one of which looks brand new). all ancillaries are there, ecu is correct. Now just need to get it in and turn the key
