#20353 beofre you spend the money on the new cat just take off the one you have and look through it. if you can see day light then just blow it out with an air hose and put it back on...if you just going to buy a high flow anyways then just pull the old one off..

im going to try to run open header then if it fixes it ill just get a whole new exhaust and forget about suspension till next payday

#20366 yeah my buddie bought a 93 cx hatch with a d16 swap in it and it does the same thing.if u try to take off slow in it,it will rev by it self.i thought it was the ecu but dont really know what it is.but he found a to stop these problems.hes getting a B16 swap with in the next few weeks.lol. g/l wit ur problem :thumb:

#20690 i had the timing redone(original person set it to the red mark :thumbdown: )

was reset to the white make and still nothing but goes out to 6200 and i was told to go back to non synthetic oil and use 10w-30 to clean things up and change the oil again after 500 b/c my oil gets dirty right away after being changed

the motor/car was sitting for 1.5 years and probably didnt have the oil changed so it probably sludged up and clogged the squirters and passaged to VTEC

so im going to change oil add some ATF 1qt and change again after 300 miles
and also replace the VTEC solenoid

what do you guy think on this

runs better now and was done by a honda/acura only shop locally

pulls alot harder to the incorrect rev limit now

also so i dont doubt them at all since they build race engines and such

but the red mark is for ignition timing i think
