#205861 I loved my Prelude...but it got too much attention. From ricers, police, domestic purists, and so on. I hated everyone revving at me, or pulling me over, or hating on me...it got old. I want a clean 5G Civic with a mild drop and some secksy rims.... And an H22 and the quietest exhaust setup I can come up with. I'ma be sleepin' on fools. :P

well if i had that sitting in my make believe garage(as i dont have one lol just a concrete patio)......but yea id either be looking at a civic eg which are so easy to work on modify, and find parts for as pretty much everything is interchangeable between the three chassis's so yea civics are also nice with a h22 under the bonnet......

Another choice now this is where it gets a little weird as i love my civics mainly the 92-95 ones as they are obd1 and are just so easy to disassemble, but yea there is another option to consider if your looking for something that not too many people would think to modify, a accord. since a prelude is a sportier version of an accord and the h22 bolts right in (as far as i know) id think the suspension setup would be close so you could swap that over as well....and make a sleeper if you will....
I had a 86 prelude 2.0si nothing close to your bb1 but it pretty much was the older brother of the 89ish accord lxi.....

but yea to be honest i could go either way and this site is very accepting of other vehicles. id like to know what you plan on doing with the car itself because i mean the civic chasis is all around a great chasis for pretty much everything but the accord in my book is too luxurious and heavy thats why the h22 makes the perfect swap lol but yea im not a fan of the accord to be honest its a tad difficult and things are hidden from site to give it a cleaner look.....

#205883 Yeah, you're spot on. Accords and Preludes 92-96 shared a chassis, motors, and trannies, and a bunch of other good stuff. I like to think of the Accord as the tame version of the Prelude. I've looked into CB/CD chassis Accords and they're nice, but I just want something reliable that handles well, with a good power to weight ratio... Thus... H22 Civic. lol. Although...I've had an idea floating around in my head. 98-02 Accord coupe with the NSX-ish tail lights...throw an NSX-type spoiler on it, a staggered wheel setup with some stretched tires, and slam. A completely aesthetic build... Probably not a realistic idea, unless a 98-02 Accord coupe makes itself available to me for a ridiculously good price. Just an idea I have rolling around in my head.

PS - Also...to any of you Civic OG's... is there Resource thread around here containing Specs and other info on the cars? Mainly I'm looking for weight differences between 92-95 Hatches/Ferios/Coupes, as well as the differences in brakes, suspensions, interior trim packages, etc. Also kinda curious what kinda weight I would be looking at with a hatch gutted from the front seats back... :hehe: If all of this info is here and I just didn't find it, just tell me I'm a noob and I need to search more.
