#20519 I had to make the same decision, "boost or B?" and "B16 0r B18?" i went with the B16A2 with the LSD tranny and i love it! :thumb: the swap was way easy and jst with an intake and exhaust i hung with a prelude door to door he maybe had a foot on me. :woot: and ya it has less displacement but if ur gna turbo it ur gna want to put bigger injectors on it anyways. go with the B u wont be dissapointed! i was told the same thing and im not! :wink:

#20776 Hehe, I'm almost certain I'll swap to a B16 first, then do a boost-project.
If you do it the other way around, it's gonna cost you twice for things like the turbo manifold, doing the ECU, etc.

I've got some pics for you guys btw, I hope you enjoy them ;)
I'm prob. going out tonight, looking for a nice place to shoot pics in the dark ;)

The hood and the spray-painted windshieldwipers + plastic cover underneath it;

Looking good IMO :P

What's to bad about the hood, I can't get it properly in place, anybody has a tip for me?

Things to do now;
- install my D16Z2 camshaft
- buy and install an adj. camgear
- have the ECU reprogrammed
- collect the black sportseats from Bouli
- collect the lightweight flywheel from Bouli

That's enough updates for now I guess, shouldn't overload you guys with to much of them should I :D

#20833 Looking good stefan!!! :thumb:

What's wrong with the hood? It looks fine to me... :? Or do you mean the small gap on the last pic? I wouldn't bother if I were you, if you try and correct that, you will only screw up someplace else...

It's VIS allright...
There's a meeting at a company who sells these hoods, september 9th.
Hopefully they have some time to get it right, because I suck at it :thumb:

#22512 The hood is now much better, took me 2 or 3 hours...
After the accident of the car this hood was on first (for about 2 or 3 months), only the right frontpanel and the hood weren't damaged.
But the hood was off, so it wouldn't close unless you pushed on it.

What I did was a bit rough... open the hood, put your hands each on one corner, and give it a few janks...
That did a whole lot for fitment.
I also put rings under the frontpanels, so they sit higher.

And what I still am going to do; take a bucket of hot water, and one with cold water...
First throw the hot water on the hood, push it in place, then fixate it again with cold water...

You know what they say... good is not good enough, perfect is a good starting point.
