Make sure you take care of everything. bushing, tie rods. anything that will let the wheel move around while the car is on the ground. Make sure you have all the lug nuts on as well. Tech can be a bitch.

Have you ever been to an auto cross?

Make sure you take care of everything. bushing, tie rods. anything that will let the wheel move around while the car is on the ground. Make sure you have all the lug nuts on as well. Tech can be a bitch.

Yea went to one before and i did well each time i went out on the track. i was the only one in my class of coarse but hopefuly this year ill get friends to come on down and have some fun.....

I even had the tail slide out on me i was drifting fwd/power sliding lol

and yea i just thought about that first the D then the B then the K but im more worried about the torque steer and other things that would result from more power......

and yea suspensions also my next step saving up a fair bit of cash to blow on it.....

- Wed Apr 14, 2010 6:08 pm #187697 So a small little update as most may know my ls took a shit and well yea im done with them sold the swap for 600ish and got me a 4dr with it to make some more money with lol.....anyhow I have been aquireing parts for my swap and lets just say im still a bit skeptical about going turbo may just do something that would make my car decently quick like different pistons to boost compression up a bit and maybe a different cam but im not sure right now.....

But so far ive bought
Y7 head
i have 2 z6 blocks laying around so ill utilize one of them
found a volvo turbo in my junkyard and hid it

and just bought these BMW 14" rims from a BMW e30 been wanting something like this for awhile now so woot!....







So yea hopefully shortly ill be getting some more parts but until then she sits there hopefully getting the 4dr fixed this weekend and then ill be able to finally start working on my hatch woot!

- Sat Jun 05, 2010 1:27 am #198710 So a new update after talking to flyingryan well i decided to get myself a cg trans one because it can handle alot and two it in the numbers, and description seems like the best d series trans honda ever made so low and behold half an hour later and a bit lighter in the wallet i pulled a cg trans outa my junkyard mind you it dose have 200 miles so i do plan on going thru it but hey its a cg i have 30days if its really bad to return it and get another one if theres another in there

so anyhow I have a new plan for my car it may take a month or so to do but thats because i want it done right and im slowly getting parts needed etc....

Motor wise i mentioned dohc zc but numbers (money) dont seem to add up i gotta look at it in depth because if im paying 700 for a dohc zc to swap it in correctly (myself of coarse) and all i need is 700 to put into a motor i already have or a bit more i think itd be more beneficial to go ahead and do it that way but yea more on that later now pics of the cg trans and my initial look at it....

pics below are of a z6 block i have sitting around and the cg trans just test fitting the intermediate shafts i got one that bolted perfectly to the back of teh block from a awd wagon ef and of coarse as youll see in the pics it dosent do to well when inserted into the trans....but thankfully i have the cg intermediate shaft some mods needed but no big deal itll get done right.....

so without further ado pics










Cg has one bolt that works in the back so some customizing will be needed




Above the awd ef intermediate the diff area is too low for it to work properly so it wont even bolt up i mean if it was just a bit longer in the mounting area it might work but nada so cg intermediate it is....

So with that more updates on there way im just settling some things in my backyard so i can get my car up in the air for a bit without problems due to the custom work i will be doing woot so enjoy this update for now more to come in the future....

- Sat Jul 03, 2010 7:49 pm #203079 So lets just say its been awhile so i decided to update with pics since yesturday i took a step to start getting to the position to start working on my car....

as well as i also traded my shitty skunk 2 intake for a t3/t4 turbo external wastegate some money and another braided line.....so yea may not have made out but i traded a z6 head for it so i guess i still have a even trade going ....

anyhow got some turbo stuff and some pics of the rim on my car.... i cant wait to get working on my car woot!!! also gotta figure out a large problem i have a rather uncool gap its been this way ever since i got rid of my fiberglass hood ive tried two different hoods same gap so im thinking its something with the hinge latch or body tho i dont understand how......anyhow here beith the pics










Every time i look at that rim on my car it renews my faith in this project......

thats it for now hopefully getting some much needed new tools for my birthday as well as some other things but yea until next time

- Sat Sep 11, 2010 1:06 am #213078 So its been awhile since i have updated this thread and for good reason its mainly half my car as my good friend is going to buy it however im fixing it up taking what i need from it putting it together so he has a decent car to drive here and there for his family etc.....anyhow got some updates on my black to blue interior...started with it pretty much stripped....
