2.5" or 3" catback exhaust?

2.5" or 3" catback exhaust?

- Fri Dec 01, 2006 2:33 pm #635 I'm going to need a bigger exhaust when I get my turbo on... debating if 3" is really worth it or if I should go 2.5"

Setup is a t3 super60, 2.5" spoolin performance downpipe & 2.5" flex joint. HP will be about 275 at the most.

- Sun Feb 11, 2007 7:43 pm #2181 I say 3". when we boosted my friends 4dr we ran an open down pipe for a while, and eventually we tried to bolt his 2.5" exhaust back up and the car ran really really slow. and that was only a stock d15b7 on five pounds. so we took the 2.5" off and made 3" turbo back, now the car runs much much better, lol.
