I have done a lot of different things to try and fix this
Has anyone salved this problem
And yes Ive researched this and nothing seems to work

For those who are not familiar with this.
PS3 Internet Connection failure VIA Ethernet cable to modem
(Wired connection)

What type of modem are you using?
Wireless or cable?
Do you know what NAT type? (nat3 is bad, nat2 is good or just open is good too)

Not too sure on nat type

I think my solution is to get a wireless router right?

- Tue Oct 05, 2010 3:41 pm #216954 turn the DNS setting to off. You dont need it for it to work properly. Mac address off, basically use the easy setup. It should work fine. I have mine wireless and I have all of those settings off...the fact that its wired or wireless shouldnt matter
