Hey guys, as the topic states I'm in the process of building a Poormans type R. I have already aquired a 99 gsr block, blockguard, b18a crank and manley LS rods.
I do plan on keeping it N/A and I am hoping to make between 200-220whp after my first tune. My intended parts for this build include(actual parts may vary):
Ported and polished GSR head
Supertech Valvetrain(flat face)
Skunk 2 Valve springs
New Valve guides
Cam ( still not decided )
Arp head bolts
Tri Y headers
Skunk 2 or Edlebrock Intake Manifold or possibly ITB's ( will need advice with this decision )
Honed GsR block
Polished LS crank
High Comp Pistons( 12:1 - 12.5:1 can't decide because I plan on driving my car daily )
Manley LS Rods
ARP rod bolts
Hondata S300
Hydro GSR tranny ( I'd be lucky if I got a lsd )
Etc
