#223602 im buying a new EG9"wel second hand" cuz my old 1 was costing me too much $$ to fix up, and had to sell  ..but in the long run buying 1 in better condition will cost me far less..sooo
Any way back to the subject here: the new "second hand" eg9 has a bone stock B16a init, im jus gonna put a 4-2-1 header in and a cold air intake for now..but i have a Hondata S300 wich i bought for my previous car, but never used it , im thinking bout installing it in the new"second hand" car and get it tuned ...Should i?? will that be any better than with the stock ECU? apart from the rev limiter and launch control ( bad ass ) features...what else can i do to get alittle more juice "without being too drastic like "cams, internals,ect"....yuh know small MODS but effective?
thanks for the guidance in advance

#223603 The stock ECU will be fine for a header & cold air intake. But with the S300 and some dyno time, you might be able to pull a couple-few more HP out with the S300 and a good tuner..

#223617 i have a friend that has a BONE stock B16B in his 96 coupe with just intake and exhaust and he made with S300 a Good 20hp bringing the total to 176 WHP.. keep in mind the flywheel is 185.

his first run was 160. so i think it would be worth it. that and if your going to do any mods like Valve springs cams, and etc i would deff get it.
