#224536 This past Sunday morning I went out as usual to start my car
and It wouldn't start
I cycled the ignition to let the fuel flow a little
I shook the car to loosed up fuel
I adjusted the main relay and checked the plugs and wires
Then she fired up but then would lag on heavy acceleration and backfire

So I got her home and Monday I went out
and she just wouldn't start no matter what

So I tried using starting fluid and it still wouldn't start
which makes me believe that its the distributor or the plugs

Today I replaced the distributor with a new one and cycled the ignition once
I turned the key and it fired up but immediately stopped

When I went to try and start it again it wouldn't start
The ignition didn't sound right at all, it wasn't sputtering like a normal start
Bear with me
Normal start: BA BA BA BA BA
My start: BWHAAABWHAAABWHAAA

I need help folks

You think just a general tune up will have it running?

#224621 Could I have accidentally advanced the timing?
Or put the key in on the wrong side?

If by key you mean the key holding the dizzy adapter going to head then no. If the car starts then its good, otherwise it would be 180' out and not start at all. You could have got the electronic timing incorrect. Having the dizzy in the middle of the adjustable area that seams to be close to where you want your timing at, You can adjust it with a Timing light and make sure your on spec.

If timing it spot on, I would recommend as the others said, a tune up, Also taking out the injectors and cleaning their screens with carb cleaner is a good idea as well.
