#225890 Well my daily 94 Grand Prix gave up on me after 304k :( Came home one day and my girlfriend got me a civic!! Not only that....it's a 93 si, it is totally stock besides being lowered on 00' si rims, not bad for $1500. She's the best! It's a little rough around the edges but i'm going to keep it that way so the thieves stay away :x
Plans:
-alarm
-kill switches
-other options to slow down a thief
-maybe a lip and duckbill
-maybe intake and exhaust (nothing raspy or annoying)
I'll continue to absorb all the great useful info on this site, planning to do alot of the DIY stuff. :woot:

#225896 Nice Hatch! Also its awesome your Girlfriend bought you a Car. Thats really cool.

From the outside the hatch looks awesome.

When you do your alarm buy an alarm and do it like this says:
http://causeforalarm.thecarthing.com/eg ... index.html

Dont go out to best buy and have them install it. It actually makes it easier to steal your car as the wires you need to get to are deloomed and easily accessable. The leave fuses very easily acceesssable so its easy to service, not so its harder to steal your car.

Also get new keys for your car. take it to a lock smith, If you can put in something other then Honda or Toyota Locks. If the lock smith doesn't want to do that then have him give you a narley key with very high highs then low lows that make it hard to bump open, even with a master key or a bump key.

Security should be step 1, Texas members have chimed in about how bad it is down there.

The interior is clean! Has all panels and all trim pieces. Stock si seats, only aftermarket is the headunit and speakers. Also retains a/c and heat. The sunroof still works too.....i'm very surprised that it's as clean as it is for the price and year. I plan on doing many of the security measures explained on the "causeforalarm" site. Very good info :thumb:

#227727 Got a good deal on a Megan catback exhaust and while i was at it put an oem new catalytic converter on. Old exhaust had a patched oem muffler and kinked piping with lots of rust.....ended up breaking 4 rusty bolts and the old cat was done for.

Here are some pics:

it's alot louder now, i'll probably opt for the silencer. It definitley has more balls now!! :thumb: I know it flows better than that kinked up 1" rusted piping, rusty cat, and autozone muffler with a patch on it. I know this will last longer than the other stuff.....it's stainless with grade 8 hardware.
